The Be Kind Initiative is a program where we will be recognizing members for being upstanding citizens, exemplifying kindness, & good sportsmanship. It will be for a that girl who goes to check on a player who got hurt during a game. For the girl who has such a great attitude and lifts her team even amid a loss. For the girl who works tirelessly every practice and game and gives it her 100%. For the people who show support to all her teammates and cheers them on all the time. For the people who show what it means to be kind. These are just a few examples of great sportsmanship and kindness.

This is also going to be a program to recognize those coaches that go above and beyond. For those coaches that have made an impact in their players. For those coaches who exemplify great sportsmanship.

We are asking all our parents and players to send in nominations for players & coaches! The nominations for players can be from any portion of the season. The board will pick from all the nominations and recognize at least one girl and coach from each division. Every girl who is chosen will be receiving a special gift from the board. Out of all those girls we will pick one girl for the Emma Ivanovsky Award! The Emma Ivanovsky Award is for that player and coach who was an incredible example of being kind!
